This home looks so different from when we started! There were columns separating the family room from the foyer, a metal railing in between the kitchen and family area and a sunk in floor. We eliminated the railings, columns, raised the floor and opened up the kitchen to the family room. Gorgeous white cabinets were added and feature a dry bar near the table for entertaining as well as extra storage. Black granite countertops expand the perimeter with the center island functioning as a gathering spot and a focal point with the white quartz countertops. A subtle gray subway tile backsplash pull the two countertops together. The gray sectional with hints of blue and brown pillows offers the perfect place to snuggle up and enjoy a warm fire or read a book.
